SPB sponsors two "Murder Mystery Night" events
Issue date: 10/9/08 Section: Campus & Life
To begin the spook-tacular month of October, SSU's Student Programming Board (SPB) kicked it off with a Murder Mystery Weekend.
This was held on Friday, Oct. 3 and Saturday, Oct. 4 in the University Center (UC). On both nights the event started at 8 p.m.
To start each evening of food, fun, and mystery, was a meal. Either a nacho bar or pretzels and popcorn was featured while the participants signed up to play the roles in the murder mystery.
The SPB had seven murder mystery games ranging from Lethal Luau to Staying Alive and each one also a CD component that played along with the characters.
Because of this, no one was left out. All students on Friday and Saturday night were able to participate.
Each game was like a skit that revealed the killer at the end. There were also props available for each character to get in the "murder mystery mood."
All of the participants really seemed to have a great time and some great laughs. It was a great way to begin an October: food, friends, and a murder!
