If you ever happen to be in the city of Chillicothe and you're very hungry be sure to stop in at the restaurant Sumburger. If you stop in there, you won't be hungry for at least a few hours.

The prices range from about $5-$10. It is rather cheap, especially for the amount of food that you receive.

The portions are large as well. I ordered the submarine platter. It came with a giant sub, mushrooms, and cole slaw. Of course I ordered the mushrooms rather than the crinkle fries, but the fries are just as good.

If you like deep fried mushrooms, you would definitely love Sumburger, because they fix the best mushrooms.

I have gotten dessert before, but I couldn't this time. Last year when I went I got a triple chocolate cake. It was delicious.

The thing about Sumburger is that they have special desserts. You don't have a choice of 10 different desserts, but instead they have a special one that you can try.

As for service, you have a telephone that you pick up next to your table and the employees in the kitchen will take your order from there. After that someone will bring your food to you.

Normally, you do not have employees checking on you, because if you need anything you are supposed to pick up the phone. But this time, employees came over to my table every 10 minutes or so to make sure that everything was good.

There is a small gift shop at the cash register where customers are able to buy shirts and other souvenirs, considering it is the only Sumburger in the country.

After eating at Sumburger you'll want to go back again. The employees are nice, the food is great, and you get a good feel for an old diner-type of restaurant.
